Retro Cosy - One Rainy Day

Friend and photographer Kassandra De Araújo and I decided awhile back that we were in need of a catch up. In turn we decided to set up a shoot. Something chilled. So on April 30th we did both of these things, we had a great time along with make-up artist, make-up artist being only one of her many trades Samantha Laura Kaye

It was a dark, cloudy, incredibly rainy day. loved It! Thank you to both of you!

I hope your weekend looks as exciting & eventful as mine, if not more!

Here's a video test I did with Clyde Phillips & Wynand Van Wyk, as I say its just a test but there will be more of this to come, as my show reel seems to be growing considerably this year with ads, tests & music videos.

On The Other Side Of The Mountain

It took awhile, got distracted, but I finally revamped Small Glory a bit.

The new header background photo I took from my fathers front lawn. I went and spent a week with him not to long ago and came home with way to many photos of stars, sunsets and open water.

Along with luggage, books, records, photos and a bunch of other bits my grandmother gave me from the 40's 50's & 60's. I spent hours going through boxes of the crazies stuff, and found many small treasures.

It was good to see my father and be by the sea, did some driving lots of reading and got productive.

In closing I would just like to acknowledge my fathers beard, since he has decided to stop trimming it.

He had just made use of an angle grinder to cut into a wall, hence all the dust but I think its rather extraordinary.

Tomorrow Ill be posting a new video test I did, its pretty rad so keep an eye out.

Has it been worth it? hells yeah. I now have the complete results from my shoot with Sean Laurenz.

On Monday a bunch of us went hiking in Jonkers Hook.

Six of us, with all the supplies needed, made for a magical afternoon.

Thursday Haze

Went to go shoot a S.Y.N.W poster with Adriaan Louw last week 

& met a pretty cool cat, Mr Waldo Schafli.

We got to take a photo or two but we'll be shooting more soon so keep an eye out.
